What is knacksteem?

KnacKsteem is a project built on the Steem blockchain. It is aimed to reward great, innovative, creative individuals that are willing to promote original skills and culture. Knacksteem is the one platform where you can directly share your skills and your passion with the right audience without the need of mediators.

The idea of knacksteem is birthed from the founder's passion to see originality and creativity on the steem blockchain rewarded, which is the major concept of the steem blockchain .

Knacksteem will serve as a pedestal, platform or medium where individuals on steem blockchain can showcase their exceptional gifts and talents in various fields to the ever-growing community on the steem blockchain and also get rewarded by doing so. How Knacksteem works?

Knacksteem works like other existing platforms on the steem blockchain. Contributions matching the platform’s descriptions are rewarded by the blockchain’s vote- reward based system.

However, to avoid and reduce harassment and malicious practices on the platform to a minimal level, Knacksteem employs the services of dedicated and trustworthy moderators who will vet, review and score each contribution if they meet required standard after which the contribution is upvoted by Knacksteem community account.

How are the rewards generated?

To pay the contributor’s rewards, Knacksteem will utilize the Steem blockchain. Which means the money generated would be in the form of a cryptocurrency called STEEM which is the token of the steem blockchain and this is done through community voting. Nobody has to pay for the rewards directly. They are generated and distributed using an algorithm called Proof-of-Brain, which encourages people to create and curate quality content.

In the case of Knacksteem, your talents, skills, and passion in various categories available on Knacksteem are adjudged as quality content. By upvoting your contributions, the community creates money to reward you for your work. Community members can also decide to reward contributors directly using their own steem. This could be as a means of support and encouragement to the contributor for his creativity or talent, this, however, is not a consistent activity and it’s optional.

The worth of a user's vote is based on his/her own investment in the platform and the larger their stake, the more their vote is worth when curating. Knacksteem itself can vote on your contributions if it meets the required standards of the platform.
