Adventure that made me expand my mind, wisdom, knowledge and understanding of certain aspects of life and the reality that we Venezuelans live day by day because of the social, economic, political, etc. problems that our country Venezuela is going through. That our country Venezuela is going through. # # The beginning of the journey # This journey that took me beyond the borders, began in mid-January 2018. I was in the process of testing to start my studies as a public administrator, a process that took me about a whole year and 2 months to get in, and even with all this time, because of the situation in my country Venezuela, it took even longer. For me, it was not in my plans to wait so long and waste all that time, I had already lost a whole year and I did not want to waste any more time. When all this happened, I was only 17 years old, my older brothers were out of the country, and seeing the situation I was in, they proposed to help me to leave the country, I obviously accepted but I had to wait until I was 18. #

# When I turned 18 on January 14, 2019, I started to execute the proposal that my brothers gave me, I started to process my papers and I got my border card. As at that time and even today, it was difficult to get a passport, I took the decision to go without it, taking the risk in this great adventure. After some time, with everything ready to leave, my trip started on the 28th of January, but I was unable to leave on that date because there were many political conflicts going on in the country and there was unrest in the cities and at the borders. I waited for everything to calm down a bit and finally I managed to start my trip on the 9th of February 2019. # # Welcome to the new country #

During the trip I was not alone, I travelled with my sister-in-law and my little nephew who was only 3 months old. The trip was long and a bit hard, but it was all worth it. Finally, after travelling for almost two and a half days, we arrived in Medellin - Colombia. Where we were warmly welcomed by my older brother and the people where he lived. My older brother "Sadier" is a singer, and his job is to sing in the restaurants and bakeries of Medellín, he does very well with his work and the people of Medellín, the "Paisas", are very kind and collaborators with art and music. #

# As the months went by I got to know more about this beautiful city "Medellin" and its surroundings, I met different places, some beautiful and spectacular and others a bit more terrifying, I also met many new people, many Venezuelans struggling outside their country for a better future and many very kind Colombian "Paisas" who gave me a better experience in Medellin. # # Meeting Medellín # Many of the places I got to know in Medellín were thanks to my work with my brother "Sadier". We used to go out to different places to sing, and this led us to know more about this beautiful city, its people and its culture. # After a few months, I made the decision to leave Medellín, and go to other places. I had some cousins on the coastal side of the country and I contacted them so that they could receive me, I spoke to them and they accepted. I immediately packed my bags and took the road to Bosconia - Colombia. Bosconia is a town a few kilometres away from Valledupar, the birthplace of the representative music of Colombia "The Vallenato" and home of several well known artists in that country. # Being in this coastal area of Colombia, I also met several places and in those places very nice people who made my stay there more pleasant. # In "La Loma" I started my profession as a "Bartender" and I had the great opportunity to work in the best quality restaurant in the area, which is "Samuelitos Resto-Bar". Thanks to this, I learned a lot more about cocktails and the most traditional food and drinks in the area, as well as a wide variety of drinks that I didn't know about, such as the different types of beers, liquors, distillates, sodas, flavourings and even cocktails. # # The end of the adventure #

Finally, after all this long journey, it is almost a year since I started the adventure, the holidays fell and the desire to be sharing with my family wrapped me, so without thinking twice, once again I packed my bags, I took my way to "Venezuela".

I arrived at the border of Colombia with Venezuela, Cúcuta - Ureña, and there I was received by my other older brother "Arturo", my goal was to go to the centre of the country, specifically to "Maracay - Edo. Aragua", but my brother insisted me to stay and work with him, I immediately called my father and told him that I was going to stay, only if he came from Maracay to spend Christmas with us in Ureña - Táchira.

As December passes, in the second week of January 2020, I take once again my suitcases and decide to leave Táchira, to head towards Maracay. My brother "Arturo" and some friends also wanted to go to the city centre to vacation on the beautiful beaches of Ocumare, so they also packed their bags and we all left together. Arriving in Maracay, I was incredibly happy because after almost a year, I was home again. Aventura que me hizo ampliar mas mi mente, sabiduría, conocimiento y el entendimiento de ciertos aspectos de la vida y de la realidad que vivimos los venezolanos día a día a causa de los problemas sociales, económicos, políticos, etc. Que atraviesa nuestro país Venezuela. # # El inicio de la travesía # Este viaje que me llevó más allá de las fronteras, se inició a mediados del mes de Enero del año 2018. Yo me encontraba en procesos de pruebas para iniciar mis estudios como administrador público, proceso que me llevó aproximadamente un año entero y 2 meses para lograr entrar, y aun con todo este tiempo, por causas de la situación de mi país Venezuela, se demoraron aún más. Para mí, no estaba en mis planes esperar tanto y perder todo ese tiempo, ya había perdido un año entero y no quería seguir perdiendo más tiempo. Cuando todo esto paso, yo solo tenía 17 años, mis hermanos mayores se encontraban fuera del país, ellos viendo la situación en la que me encontraba, me hicieron la propuesta de ayudarme a salir del país, yo obviamente acepte pero tuve que esperar hasta cumplir mis 18 años. #

# Al cumplir mis 18 años el 14 enero del 2019, empecé a ejecutar la propuesta que me dieron mis hermanos, empecé a tramitar mis papeles y saque mi carnet fronterizo. Como en ese entonces y aun en la actualidad, era difícil sacar un pasaporte, tome la decisión de irme sin el, tomando el riesgo en esta gran aventura. Pasado el tiempo, ya con todo en la mano listo para irme, mi viaje se iniciaba un 28 de enero, pero no logre salir en esa fecha porque en el país estaban pasando muchos conflictos políticos y había disturbio en las ciudades y fronteras. Espere a que todo se calmara un poco y finalmente logre empezar mi viaje el 9 de febrero del 2019. # # La bienvenida a el nuevo país #

# Durante el viaje no estuve solo, viaje junto a mi cuñada y mi sobrinito que tan solo tenia 3 meses de nacido. El viaje se nos hizo largo y un poco duro, pero todo valió la pena. Finalmente al viajar casi 2 días y medios, llegamos a Medellín – Colombia. Donde fuimos gratamente bienvenidos por mi hermano mayor y las personas donde él vivía. Llegamos, nos duchamos, comimos y descansamos un poco para recuperar las fuerzas que consumimos durante el viaje. # # Iniciando la aventura # https://images.hive.blog/DQmd69VJ9jFgFx7U7PG7xxFXVVThUCRh3iJ54SGzRDnNfSS/Imagen4.png # Ese mismo día, al finalizar el descanso, mi hermano se alista para salir a trabajar y me pregunta si me sentía lo suficientemente bien, como para salir a trabajar con el: yo le dije que si, me aliste y salimos a trabajar. Mi hermano mayor “Sadier” es cantante, y su trabajo es cantar en los restaurantes y panaderías de Medellín, a el le va muy bien con su trabajo y los cuidados de Medellín los “Paisas” son muy amables y colaboradores con el arte y la música. #

# Al pasar los meses fui conociendo más sobre esta hermosa cuidad “Medellín” y sus alrededores, conocí diversos lugares, unos hermosos y espectaculares y otros un poco más terroríficos, también conocí a mucha gente nueva, muchos venezolanos luchando fuera de su país para un mejor futuro y muchos colombianos “Paisas” muy amables que me brindaron una mejor experiencia en Medellín. # # Conociendo Medellín. # Muchos de los lugares que conocí en Medellín fueron gracias a mi trabajo con mi hermano “Sadier”. Solíamos salir a diversos sitios para cantar, y esto nos llevó a conocer más sobre esta hermosa ciudad, su gente y su cultura. # Después unos meses, tomé la decisión de irme de Medellín, e irme a conocer otros lugares. Tenía unos primos hacia los lados costeros del país y me puse en contacto con ellos para que me recibieron, hable con ellos y aceptaron. Enseguida hice mis maletas y tome camino rumbo a Bosconia – Colombia. Bosconia es un pueblo que se encuentra a unos kilómetros de Valledupar, lugar donde se origina la música representativa de Colombia “El Vallenato” y hogar de nacimiento de varias artistas muy reconocidos en ese país. # Estando en esta zona costera de Colombia, también conocí diversos lugares y en esos lugares a muy buenas personas que hicieron más agradable mi paso por allí. Estos son alguno de los lugares que conocí por estas zonas: # - La loma Cesar - Chiriguana - El Paso - 4 vientos, entre otros. #

# En “La Loma” me inicie en mi profesión como “Bartender” tuve la gran oportunidad de trabajar en el restaurante de mejor calidad de la zona, el cual es “Samuelitos Resto-Bar”. Gracias a esto, aprendí mucho más respecto a la coctelería y a las comidas y bebidas más tradicionales de esa zona, además de conocer gran variedad de bebidas que desconocía, como los diferentes tipos de cervezas, los licores, destilados, sodas, saborizantes y hasta cócteles. # # El final de la aventura #

Finalmente, después de todo este largo recorrido, se cumple casi un año desde que inicie la aventura, cayeron las fechas decembrinas y las ganas de estar compartiendo con mi familia me arropaba, así que sin pensarlo 2 veces, una vez más hice mis maletas, tome camino rumbo a “Venezuela”.

Llegue a la frontera de Colombia con Venezuela, Cúcuta – Ureña, y allí me recibió mi otro hermano mayor “Arturo”, mi meta era irme hacía el centro del país, específicamente a “Maracay – Edo. Aragua”, pero mi hermano me insistió en quedarme y trabajar con él, yo inmediatamente llame a mi padre y le conté que me iba a quedar, solo si él venía de Maracay a pasar navidades con nosotros en Ureña – Táchira.

Al pasar Diciembre, en la segunda semana de Enero del año 2020, tome una vez más mis maletas y decido irme del Táchira, para tomar rumbo hacia Maracay. Mi hermano “Arturo” y unos amigos, también querían ir al centro de la ciudad para vacacionar en las hermosas playas de Ocumare, así que también hicieron sus maletas y nos fuimos todos juntos. Al llegar a Maracay, me entró una increíble alegría porque después de casi un año, ya estaba en casa otra vez.
