Paseo por el bulevar de Varadero

El hotel donde nos hospedamos estas vacaciones en Varadero queda justo frente al Bulevar, y más exactamente desde nuestra habitación se veía una de sus entradas. Sentía curiosidad por verlo y decidí esa mañana, cuando comenzaban a salir los primeros rayos del sol, visitarlo. Salí del Hotel con mi teléfono en mano dispuesta a llevarme pruebas de mi paseo, crucé la calle y enfoqué el hotel, tratando de localizar el balcón de mi habitación, pero me fije más en las banderas, la muchacha que corría haciendo su ejercicio matinal, el sol que empezaba a enseñar sur rayos justo encima del hotel y lógicamente el letrero del nombre del hotel. Seguí caminando por la acera y justo frente al primer establecimiento, ya el sol extendía uno de sus rayos, casi guiándome el camino hacia mi objetivo: visitar el Bulevar. Lástima que a esa hora, tan temprano, todo estaba cerrado y los empleados comenzaban a prepararse para más tarde comenzar a brindar el servicio. Estos primeros establecimientos quedan justo en la calle principal de Varadero, frente al hotel. LA FONDUE La casa del queso cubano. Distintos tipos de quesos industriales y artesanales. La CASA DEL RON Muy bonito y original el diseño de este establecimiento. El diablo encima de un barril de ron y encima de una motocicleta. Los mejores rones cubanos para su disfrute. LA CASA DEL CHOCOLATE Supongo que todo tipo de delicias de chocolates, lástima que no volví por la tarde para degustarlos, solo los imaginé. ENTRADA DEL BULEVAR Me llamó mucho la atención durante este recorrido, la limpieza y organización de las áreas y lo cuidadas que están las áreas verdes dotadas de muchas plantas y flores. Pensé que sería mucho mejor hacer ese recorrido mejor cuando abrieran todos los establecimientos, pero también el tiempo para mí era escaso porque debía aprovechar más mi estancia en el hotel con servicio de todo incluido y sobre todo la playa que es lo que más disfruto. Caminé durante un buen rato guiándome por las señalizaciones, encontrando dentro Restaurantes, tiendas, cafeterías, bares, hostales, plaza cultural y un sinnúmero de establecimientos para el disfrute de todo el que visite Varadero. Les mencionaré algunos de los que alcancé a fotografiar. CASA DEL CAFÉ Recrea a su entrada con un burro, animal que se utiliza en las montañas del Oriente cubano para bajar los granos de café desde las montañas hasta las despulpadoras del grano. En su interior se puede degustar el rico café cubano. TIENDA REEBOK. Enfrente un hermoso jardín, me gustó que hay espacio para sentarse y contemplar los estanques con sus peces de colores. Justo detrás de este jardín, un restaurante asiático. RESTAURANTE BOLSHOI De comida rusa, como verán en su fachada, se puede notar su elegancia en diseño. Un lugar que de seguro me traería muchos y agradables recuerdos. CASA DEL GUARAPO Recreado con un pequeño trapiche que nos enseña cómo se le extrae el jugo a la caña de forma artesanal. Un vaso de guarapo en un día de tanto calor y sol es una verdadera delicia. Le seguían muchos más establecimientos, pero ya el sol se hacía más fuerte y comenzaba a avanzar la mañana y aún yo no había desayunado. Faltaba muy poco para que mi esposo y mi hija notaran mi ausencia. Me di cuenta después de este pequeño recorrido por el Bulevar por qué siempre lo veía tan concurrido tanto de día como de noche. Y de noche fiestas con música grabada y grupos musicales para el disfrute de los vacacionistas extranjeros y cubanos. La música en nuestra habitación se escuchaba muy fuerte, pero no molestaba para dormir, es que estábamos muy cansados de tanta playa y actividades durante el día. Si alguna vez vienen a mi Cuba, no dejen de visitar Varadero y disfrutar de todo lo que les brinda este precioso Bulevar.

I kept walking down the sidewalk and right in front of the first establishment, the sun was already extending one of its rays, almost guiding me to my goal: to visit the Boulevard. It was a pity that at that time, so early, everything was closed and the employees were getting ready to start offering service later. These first establishments are right on Varadero's main street, in front of the hotel.

THE CHOCOLATE HOUSE I suppose all kinds of chocolate delights, it's a pity I didn't go back in the afternoon to taste them, I only imagined them.

I thought it would be much better to do that tour when all the establishments opened, but also time was short for me because I had to make the most of my stay in the all-inclusive hotel and especially the beach, which is what I enjoy the most.

BOULEVARD ENTRANCE During this tour, I was very struck by the cleanliness and organization of the areas and how well-kept the green areas are, full of many plants and flowers.

I walked for quite a while following the signs, finding restaurants, shops, cafes, bars, hostels, a cultural plaza, and an endless number of establishments for the enjoyment of all those who visit Varadero. I will mention some of those I managed to photograph.

COFFEE HOUSE It recreates at its entrance with a donkey, an animal used in the mountains of eastern Cuba to bring down coffee beans from the mountains to the grain pulpers. Inside, you can taste delicious Cuban coffee.

REEBOK STORE In front of a beautiful garden, I liked that there is a space to sit and contemplate the ponds with their colorful fish. GUARAPO HOUSE Recreated with a small sugar cane press that shows us how the juice is extracted from the cane in an artisanal way. A glass of guarapo on a hot and sunny day is a real delight.

There were many more establishments to follow, but the sun was getting stronger, and the morning was moving on, and I hadn't even had breakfast. It was just a little while before my husband and daughter noticed my absence. I realized after this brief walk along the Boulevard why I always saw it so crowded both day and night. And at night, there were parties with recorded music and musical groups for the enjoyment of foreign and Cuban vacationers. The music in our room was very loud, but it didn't bother us for sleeping, we were just too tired from so much beach and activities during the day.
