I instantly thought of BITCONNECT and wanted to dig in more. You may already know that: Bitconnect is BITCOIN(BIT) + CONNECT=BITCONNECT(if you look at the charts it's tightly connected to bitcoin). Ethconnect is ETHEREUM(ETH) + CONNECT=ETHCONNECT(if you look at the charts it's tightly connected to ethereum). Another similarity that I found: In bitconnect, the more you invest, the more +%daily you get and you get your capital faster. Guess what, ethconnect has the same thing. It is obvious that ethconnect creators brutally copied almost everything from bitconnect , but changed the main cryptocurrency(From bitcoin to ethereum). If you ask why they copied bitconnect, I would say we need to look at bitconnect price chart. On 2017 MARCH 9 , price of ONE bitconnect coin was ~1 dollar, now it is ~307 dollars For now, the price of ONE ethconnect coin is 5 dollars, but it is still not on exchanges(the ICO will open in 3 days), so people just don't know what to expect from this coin either.
