Hello there, my first story will be brief.

Not too long ago a friend of mine started talking to me about Steem. He would mention these absurd ideas of how you can make money from posting stories on a website. This seemed almost surreal at the time, and the ol : "Its too good to be true" idiom came crawling through my mind. So... of course... like a curious kid, I did some exploring.

Everything he said was true! The site is easy to get around, even though we're still in the beta stage. The content at first glance appears to be worthwhile, and not to mention all the un-desirable ads have taken a much needed hiatus from my computer and smartphone display.

To wrap up my short story, I'd like to thank everyone here on Steem in advance. I hope we all get to know each other and develop a strong social media platform that will take us to a whole new realm of possibilities!
