I'm not able to change your life, but you certainly are. And I have found that it's ideas that literally change everything in our life.

What Are You Passionate About?

In life, you should only ever be doing one of two things. And that is figuring out what you're most passionate about, like finding your dreams in life. And then two, realizing those passions, realizing those dreams.

The first one is much harder than the second one: if you know what you want to do, nobody will hold you back when you spend your life trying to achieve your goals. You'll either get really close or you'll die trying.

If you don't know what to do with your life yet, you'll need to take to look inside yourself to see what it is that you really want. What are you passionate about?

Choices

There's a lot of complaining going on in the word. People have too much work, or not enough. They are too tired to do something they want to do, are irritated by a person or a situation, or are simply facing difficult times in their lives.

But the truth is that the only way you're ever going to get to the other side of this journey called life, is through suffering. You need to suffer to be able to grow as a person.

You can become the kind of person that is so in tune with the values that you have and what you actually want that when feelings rise up, you can choose to act however you want.

You can choose to still go to the gym, even if you're tired. Whenever you're annoyed, by your spouse, you can choose to speak in a manner that's loving. Even when you don't feel like doing all that hard work, you can still push yourself to do it.

You can't choose what you feel, but your behavior and your thoughts are always a choice.

The Hard Way

Quite some people live to be a hundred years old. They have had great lives, they have great kids. The kids were able to go to college and all that sort of stuff.

But at some points in their lives, they had to make decisions. They could have gone left or right on their paths. Left was the easy route, right was the hard route.

Everyone is always allowed to take the easy route and have a good life that way. But let me assure you that the more rewarding life can be found by choosing the hard route.

If you want to grow as a person, you will learn so much more by having to fight your way through life...

Keeping The Faith

Many people are suffering from battle fatigue. They've been fighting their entire lives, but can't seem to achieve their goals.

Hoping for that promotion that never comes, praying for that sick family member that is not getting better. They never dreamed that they'd still be single at their age. And so on...

Now they're tired. Tired of fighting, tired of waiting for good things to come their way.

Let me assure you, your time will come. Your due season is on its way.

Don't let time talk you out of it. Don't let discouragement make you give up. Don't let negative thoughts convince you to settle wherever you are.

You were born to succeed, to win, to conquer all difficulties and have all your faculties fully developed.

You have to trust your own voice. Your own ideas, your honesty, your vulnerability and find your way. You do not have to be fearless, just don't let fear stop you.

Live your life in the best possible way and eventually, you will be able to look back on a life well-lived.

Trust

You are capable of greatness in your profession and - even more important - in your quality of self. Stay hungry. Stay young and heart. Take those risks. You are going to change the world around you in big ways and small.

If you want to go somewhere, you got to do it.

One of the great secrets in life is that you need to be prepared for rejection. Because if you are prepared for rejection, you won't get turned off, you won't get disappointed. You won't start thinking things like "I'm not going to do this anymore, because no one thinks it's a good idea".

We need trust. We need trust in ourselves, and trust from the people that are surrounding us.

If there's trust, we're more willing to take risks. We're more willing to experiment without being afraid to fail. We're more willing to explore and go where no one has ever gone before. All with the confidence that if we fail, if we trip over, if we turn our backs that those who we trust and who trust us will look after us while we're gone, will pick us up when we fall over and will help us when we're hurt.

Our very survival depends on it.

Fall And Get Back Up

Life is not always going to be easy, there are going to be challenges. There's still going to be curve balls thrown at you, but you can't let those intimidate you. You'll have to continue to get outside yourself, because the best place for personal growth is outside of your comfort zone.

You need to face your fears if you want to become the person you want to be. If you keep running from your fears, you're not going to learn anything.

We all fall down in life. The question is: who gets back up?

You should!

If you constantly keep throwing stir against the wall, eventually something will stick. Never give in what you want. You are where you are and only you can change.
