The bird of kutilang is a bird that has a singing sound that sounds unique and diverse. Birds kutilang is almost often found in the open, such as in timber trees, shrubs, gardens, curbside and in the yard. Many people keep this finches because of the unique sounds of chirping and the finches can also be included in the race with other finches. Because in that race, the finches will be pitted against the most frequent and most audible sounds. Usually the finches are fed with fruits, such as papaya and bananas. Karena dalam perlombaan tersebut, burung kutilang akan diadu suara yang paling sering keluar dan paling terdengar nyaring. Biasanya burung kutilang di beri makan buah-buahan, seperti pepaya dan pisang.
