Well hello. I havent posted here in a while with the steem debacle and the streaming to dlive, originaly i was multistreaming to vimm.tv as well which ive allways liked better than dlive but originaly dlive wasnt as bad as it became, espacialy before leaving steem if you can still remember that. However, it is time to move on. I might still occasionaly stream to other places to make people avare of theta but theta will have to be the main course.

Theta allows completly decentralised streaming. Its pretty easy to set up, too, though it requires some step taken from the viewer (unless you somehow integrate it into a webstie such as theta.tv, id still like a key for theta.tv but if i ever stream something questionable such as leisure suit larry or biing! id do it directly to the network as opposed to theata.tv and i dont have a key yet anyways.

How to watch me:

It does require a bit of action from the viewer as well to be part of the decentralised network. Dont worry, its easy and you will earn crypto while watching, too.

Step 0: Create a theta wallet for yourself on https://wallet.thetatoken.org/

Step 1: Install the Theta Edge Node and start it (download for windows or mac ), it will ask you for a wallet adress you want the mined tfuel to go to, put in the wallet you generated in step 0
You are now also ready to stream yourself by simply streaming to rtmp://localhost:1935/stream/ with an arbitrary key and your stream will be under https://edge-player-beta.thetatoken.org/?streamId=[yourWalletAdress]

Step 3: Get an HLS stream player to play back my (or your) stream, such as vlc player or this chrome plugin.

DONE!

You are now ready to stream or watch my stream under https://edge-player-beta.thetatoken.org/?streamId=0x024cac8f666a63029d3212b8f4314f39c4114f55
