Todo lo que vivimos queda grabado, depende de nosotros en lo que nos empeñemos en recordar o no. Hay momentos en los que la felicidad es el personaje principal de la historia y hay otros donde los tragos amargos se apoderan de la situación a tal punto de ser lo único que predomine, frente a estas circunstancias la felicidad llega a ser algo efímero, una cuestión de instantes. Primeramente soy de las personas que le gusta esquivar lo más que pueda una situación incómoda porque sé que también son capítulos que escribimos sin tinta en la tierra. Segundo, sí ya he pasado por uno no me queda de otra que seguir adelante y rebasarlo. Por último, antes de mandarlo al cajón de recuerdos *no gratos*, trato de aprovechar al máximo la oportunidad de revertir la situación, hacer de que en medio de hierbas malas, nazcan flores silvestres, extraerle una enseñanza que me sirva para tiempos postreros. Los momentos que llevamos consigo en el pasar de los años, están ahí porque queremos. Nosotros mismos somos los jueces encargados de decidir el final de nuestros recuerdos. Esa frase va conmigo a todos lados, es una expresión acertada, un momento bonito te puede hasta sacar de uno triste, al atravesar un bajón puedes recordar una ocasión en la que sonreíste muchísimo, viviste al máximo y experimentaste un batido de sensaciones y ese será el antídoto capaz de sacarte de ese pozo en el que te encontrabas porque te estará ayudando a recordar ese día x. Recuerdo cuando estaba pequeña, como en la etapa de la primaria que me daba mucha mucha pena ponerme delante de un público y declamar o decir así sea una palabra, en una ocasión hasta me quedé en blanco y eso me dio mucha vergüenza. Desde ese momento decidí no ponerme más delante de un público y es que rememoraba una y otra vez ese momento y me negaba a volver a pasar por ahí. Un día mi mamá habló conmigo y me explicó de que iba la seguridad en uno mismo, me dio tantos consejos que comencé a invalidar aquel recuerdo. Desde ese momento fui perdiendo un poco más el miedo escénico, confieso que hoy día cuando me encuentro en una situación similar tengo que volverme a dar auto terapia y recordar cada una de las palabras dichas por mi mamá, pero sin duda alguna, los nervios son solo al principio, de ahí aflora sin miedos ni tapujos la Samantha segura que llevo dentro.

Algo parecido me pasaba con la oscuridad, le tenía mucho miedo, consecuencia de recordar un día en que llovió mucho y una rana entró a mi cuarto, ya por eso asociaba cada oscuridad con las ranas y eso no lograba que me adaptara a lugares oscuros. Un día donde era sólo oscuridad lo que había me fui desprendiendo de esa idea y logré ver con más claridad, no hubo ninguna rana en ese momento y fue ahí donde pude ver belleza también en los momentos oscuros.

That phrase goes with me everywhere, it's an apt expression, a beautiful moment can even take you out of a sad one, when going through a slump you can remember an occasion when you smiled a lot, lived to the fullest and experienced a smoothie of sensations and that will be the antidote capable of taking you out of that well in which you were because it will be helping you to remember that day x. I remember when I was little, like in the primary school stage that I was very, very sorry to stand in front of an audience and declaim or say a word like that, on one occasion I even blanked out and that made me very ashamed. From that moment I decided not to put myself in front of an audience anymore and I remembered that moment over and over again and refused to go through it again. One day my mom talked to me and explained what self-confidence was all about, she gave me so much advice that I began to invalidate that memory. Since that moment I was losing stage fright a little more, I confess that nowadays when I find myself in a similar situation I have to go back to self-therapy and remember each of the words said by my mom, but without a doubt, the nerves are only at the beginning, from there the confident Samantha that I have inside emerges without fears or cover-ups.

Something similar happened to me with the dark, I was very afraid of it, as a result of remembering a day when it rained a lot and a frog came into my room, and that's why I associated every darkness with frogs and that didn't make me adapt to dark places. One day when it was only darkness that there was I got rid of that idea and managed to see more clearly, there was no frog at that moment and it was there that I could see beauty also in the dark moments.
