For this week's challenge, there is some confusion and disorientation on the ranged and magic attack monsters. They will attack other units at random and there is no way of knowing who will get hit. Not even a Taunt unit can stop the mayhem of the **Aimless Ruleset**. We have to be smart and extremely lucky as well. Fingers crossed! ***

The Combat Rules

I really don't like the aimless ruleset because I like to be able to predict my attacks as much as possible. In most cases involving the aimless ruleset, I would play with melee monsters but then, in this case, I am given the Briar Patch ruleset as well. I am not even considering the stampede because of the thorns damage that can be done. I can't use melee monsters so I will hit faster and harder while protecting everyone at the back. Let's see how I do this. ***

He also has a good combination of abilities. I chose this guy because he can heal and dodge but mostly because he can cause a 9X attack an receive just a little thorns damage. He can dodge snipe attacks or even melee attacks if he eventually gets to the front. Firstly, the Divine Shield will prevent any initial hit from causing damage no matter how large. Adelade can dodge ranged attacks but she has a more important role to play. She will repair the void armor from Rathe and she will resurrect the first monster taken out. Resurrect is really powerful when you have void armor. The units begin to attack one another randomly. * The weak **Vruz** tries to hit my Uriel but misses. **Vruz** is killed a martyr by **Bila The Radiant** and then **Grum Fireblade** is buffed up. *** ***Round 2:*** https://media.giphy.com/media/WjavvL0DLmMPJ0bTxg/giphy.gif * The round starts off with all my units intact. * The random attacks continue. * **Grum** and **Carnage Titan** hit **Uriel** but the thorns do immense damage back on them. * My units almost defeat **Supply Runner** and **Chaos Dragon** but **Time Mage** is also almost taken out. *** ***Round 3:*** https://media.giphy.com/media/MiLE1WJbmX3NPvHgh7/giphy.gif * The mayhem resumes with a weakened **Time Mage** shooting **Grum**. * **Bila** takes a good shot and kills the enemy's **Supply Runner**. The Slow ability activates. * **Chaos Dragon** attacks **Brightwing** and the blast kills **Time Mage** but she is resurrected. * **Grum** and **Carnage Titan** attack **Uriel** again and also take a lot of damage from the thorns. These thorns kill the **Carnage Titan**. *** ***Round 4:*** https://media.giphy.com/media/lKZQNFz4LDNJRANcDM/giphy.gif * A vengeful **Time Mage** takes the chance and takes down the **Chaos Dragon**. * **Supply Runner** and **Time Meddler** weaken **Grum** and the **Uriel** heals up and does a massive 9X attack that takes down the beast. * **Tinterlock** is forced to the front and his last stand ability is activated. CONCLUSION

I love these types of victories when all my units are still alive. I wouldn't say that I was lucky in this match but my strategy actually worked. Rathe's void armor and amplify were really great in this battle. Using Time Mage and Supply Runner in this battle was also a good idea. Initially, I was not sure about them because of the low mana cost but then the speed factor was very important. That's all for that battle. Happy New Year, Mage!
