Here is the latest update on my STILL never ending court case. Today was scheduled to be the beginning of the trial, after almost 15 months, but (surprise, surprise!) that didn't happen. Due to this case being dragged out for as long as it has, my lawyer finally had a scheduling conflict. Even though such a case should only require a 3 day trial, all bets are off in my case so my lawyer couldn't take any chances. The new date has now been scheduled for 8/13. The DA finally amended their offer, but it is still not one that I'm willing to take. Now to wait for another few weeks, when we'll be up to appearance number 16. Or 17. I really have no idea anymore...
