Pastel Girl Challengue Super Late [EN/ES]

It's been a while since the “Pastel Girl Challenge” was fashionable, but I didn’t have the opportunity to finish my drawing before so I do it now, because I really liked the design I did at the time, so this is my Pastel Girl:

Ya pasó mucho tiempo desde que el “Pastel Girl Challenge” estuvo de moda, pero no tuve la oportunidad de terminar mi dibujo antes así que lo hago ahora, por que me gustaba mucho el diseño que hice en ese momento, así que esta es mi Pastel Girl:

This challenge was to design a character in an app and then draw it as faithful as possible to the original design, it was complicated because in the application everything looks nice and everything combines but then when I drew it, I didn’t liked nothing and was at that moment that I realized that all the colors were too similar 😓 I designed many but his was the one I liked the most.

Este reto se trataba de diseñar un personaje en una aplicación y luego dibujarlo siendo lo más fiel posible al diseño original, fue complicado porque en la aplicación todo se ve bonito y todo combina pero luego al dibujarlo nada me gustaba y en ese momento fue que me di cuenta que los colores de todo eran demasiado parecidos 😓 diseñé muchas pero esta fue la que más me gustó.

Process:

First I did the sketch and lineart, originally I was going to make a full body, but the image was very long and I didn’t like, so I cut it

Primero hice el boceto y lineart, originalmente la iba a hacer de cuerpo completo, pero la imagen quedaba muy larga y no me gustaba, así que la corté

Then I copied the colors of the application’s character and used them as a base for mine, to use the same, to the right was putting the colors that took

Luego copié los colores del personaje de la aplicación y los usé como base para el mío, para que fueran los mismos, a la derecha iba poniendo los colores que tomaba

Then I began to shade the skin, I didn’t like it was so pale so I put some more color

Luego comencé a sombrear la piel, no me gustaba que fuera tan pálida así que le puse algo más de color

Then I made the shadows of the clothes, for it I used only three colors: blue, purple and green, mixing them differently depending on the base color. Also, I wanted to experiment doing the top litmus instead of purple, I did it subtle because I'm not sure how it’s done but I liked the result, and the design of the plates are things that I like

Luego hice las sombras de la ropa, para ello usé sólo tres colores: azul, morado y verde, mezclándolos de manera distinta dependiendo del color base. Además, quise experimentar haciendo el top tornasol en lugar de morado, lo hice sutil por que no estoy segura de como se hace pero me gustó el resultado, y el diseño de las chapas son cosas que me gustan a mí

And here is the final illustration again, I wanted to make a full background, but I was desperate, that's not my thing 🙈 so I made it smaller and copied the silhouette of the character to give a better aesthetic to the illustration. I hope you liked it

Y aquí está la ilustración final de nuevo, quería hacer un fondo completo, pero me desesperé, eso no es lo mío 🙈 así que lo hice más pequeño y copié la silueta del personaje para darle una mejor estética a la ilustración. Espero que les haya gustado
