When Sunday hits and you are feeling low, nothing works better than an ice cold IPA. So it was this #beautifulsunday with some charming company.

Black and tan? Nope. A straightforward IPA. A heavy hitter at that! An impressive 7.3 ABV.

| Appearance | Head is nothing all that spectacular. Clear light amber color. I like the black label, gives it some style and you expect classy stuff. |
| Aroma | Floral bomb just like they advertise. Heavy hops. Kills all else. Maybe an underlying grapefruit. After a few more decisive whiffs I suspect I can discern moldy cheese. |
| Taste | Medium sweet. Medium bitter. Empty taste. Falls flat. Like it lacks a special something. |
| Palate | Medium body and low carbonation. Feels heavy in mouth and leaves a bitter aftertaste. Pleasant enough but I’m not impressed by this one. |

| Overall | Aroma is what really stands out. No argument there. Taste could use some more finishing touches but not bad. Maybe I raised a bar a bit recently. Not my favourite IPA. In my humble opinion overrated on RateBeer. |
