Imperial Stout Trooper - New England Brewing Company

Imperial Stout Trooper is a 9.5% alc/volume Russian Imperial Stout made by New England Brewing Company in Woodbridge, Connecticut. New England Brewery Company is a small batch craft brewer that creates some tasty beers, from IPAs to Stouts alike. This dark stout is perfect for the winter season. It warms the soul as you ingest the evil drink of the Galactic Empire.

This stout touts a variety of almost a dozen malts and grains. It contains hints of coffee, chocolate and fruit. A true pleasure to drink. After just a couple of these you will be ready to join the dark forces. But beware of those Jedi's.

The Pour

A nice, frothy head sits atop this dark imperial stout. It was hard to notice the high 9.5% alcohol/volume. This beer was delicious. I hope New England Brewing Company will continue to release this beer throughout the season. There is not much better than a delicious, soul-warming stout on a cold winters night.
