This weekend we have a few boxing bouts to look forward to most notably the Dillian Whyte vs Lucas Browne fight which takes place at the O2 arena in Greenwich, London.
There is also a bare knuckle boxing re-match which is going somewhat under the radar between Julian Lane vs Jimmy Sweeney, bare knuckle boxing is still in its infancy so the lack of press can be forgiven though it does not go to say that this is an event not worth the time of the fans.
This event takes place in the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England tomorrow on the 24th March and is for the BKB Middleweight title and to give a bit of history on the two competitors they first fought on the 4th November 2017 where Julian Lane [BKB record 0-0-0] as an underdog beat Jimmy Sweeney [BKB record 17-0-0] to win the middleweight title and hand Sweeney his first loss and gain his first win.
Julian Lane is a viral sensation who shot to fame during his stint in The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) house where in a belligerent and drunken state went on to start fights between his house mates and coined the term "Let me bang bro" (see below).
The bookmakers have Jimmy Sweeney as a slight favourite to win and i would agree with that. I think Sweeney is by far the more technically gifted and more experienced boxer where as Julian Lane has more of a berserker approach which is always entertaining to watch but ultimately i think this will be his downfall.
