REMINDER OF POTENTIAL EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITY for CAJ COLLABORATORS
Last year at Steemfest2, Artists from Steemit exhibited their works at the ArtAtSteemfest Gallery, and the CAJ shared this video of our Journey together. Of course there is no guarantee this will happen again, but, just in case a grand opportunity should arise in some form or fashion (maybe at SteemFest3!), this is your opportunity to submit your work for possible inclusion. If you want your COLLABORATIVE ART JOURNEY work to potentially be featured then you must make your submission by filling out this simple form. By making your submission via the form link, you will be automatically entering your art and giving us permission to exhibit (or otherwise) use your artwork, as well as providing all the particulars necessary to give you credit for your contribution. If you do not enter via the form, your work will be excluded from any such opportunity.

Here is my original INVITATION to join this collaboration
I like not to divulge what my image is until after everyone has made their transformations. That often helps to keep the artists from having any preconceived notions or directions to take their art. I did the same with this image.
One day several years ago, one of our guest inhabitants started a fire in one of the living quarters. The end result was that the fire burnt down the dwelling, heavily singed the trees, and burnt many things in its firey path. The inhabitants got out safely, but their little animals did not. (Check out the CAJ contribution "Souls in the Fire" by @macodi1--it's a very interesting interpretation and transformation of this image). Anyway, this photograph is one of the many I took on that day. This is a billboard tarp that was melted by the heat, taking on a very sticky, stretchy, lacy appearance. I took many photos of this and many other objects. This was one of my favorites.
