The first bit of news is that I am extending this Third Nonsense Writing Contest by one day, so the deadline will be the end of Monday, 10 February.
It's a public holiday here, and I really need a couple of days in the mountains, and you all get an extra day to write something special - or spatial.

Rewarding Comments
As we all know, upvoting comments has become a health issue since the last hard fork and is only worthwhile if you have the lung capacity. However, there are a growing number of alternatives.
A reminder that comments receive CC tokens. I can now also distribute SHADE tokens, as well as a little BEER. The trendotokens are for posts only, so are given to those submitting entries.
But also, please be aware that all these tokens have a daily limit, so apologies to anybody who misses out - next time!
