#Inktober2018 Day 3: The Emperor
It's the third day of the artists' beloved month. I created my own prompt so it would be more sentimental and too personal for me.
The Emperor Penguin
It's my beau's favorite animal and his spirit animal too. I can see that :)
But before I met my love, I am really fond of penguins since the day I watched a documentary about them entitled " Penguin, Penguin, Paano Ka Ginawa? " ( Penguin, Penguin, How Were You Created) when I was in highschool.
Penguins are loving animals and so cute !
So much of that, here's my entry for the third day of Inktober
I used additional materials this time, aside from Sumi ink, I also used gold Sharpie Marker and gold gel pen to show the royalty of this COOL creature.
I started with drawing it's crown using a ball point pen:
This is a little bit wrong move for me because I did not assume the size of my penguin. But I still went on.
After drawing the crown, added with details, I then drafted the Emperor's outline.
I proceeded with filling the Penguin's color with black ink and hatching.
I added an unsaturated ink on the background and then gold
