Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, The idea is to get out for a short walk, and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.
On Wednesdays in Benalmadena, there is a second-hand market in the car-park by the 'Park of the Doves'. It is about ten minutes’ walk from where I am. So, I thought I would go and have a quick look and come back with pictures to post.
The market starts from ten am till two pm. It is usually quite busy with the locals looking for a bargain and curious tourists.
You find all sorts of things here, some old, some new, some downright ancient, and some very weird stuff. As the saying goes, one man’s junk is another’s treasure.
Here are some of the things I saw on my visit of the place..
These were just some of the pictures I took. It was not easy to take good pictures under the hot sun with a phone camera. It was all aim and shoot by instinct because one can't see the screen at all. And besides, I didn't want to be rude. Some people can be very sensitive when they see you snapping away.
