Hello!
Today we cook American classic food — Mac and Cheese. The dish is simple, tasty and nutritious, which explains its presence in the Comfort food-list.
However, we will not cook a standard macaroni and cheese. We will add meat :-)
Difficulty: 3/10
Cooking time: 20 min.
Number of servings: 3-4
Ingredients:
- Minced meat (beef/pork, 1:1), 400 gr.
- Cream (10%), 200 ml
- Gouda cheese, 50 gr.
- Parmesan cheese, 30 gr.
- Onions
- Flour, 10 gr.
- Butter, 10 gr.
- Pasta, 200 gr.
- Spices to taste
- Green onion
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Boil the pasta in boiling salted water as written on the package (usually 10 minutes).
Onions clean, cut into cubes and fry in a small amount of vegetable oil for one minute on high heat.
Add minced meat, spices, salt to taste and fry for five minutes, stirring occasionally.
Gouda grate on a coarse grater, Parmesan — on a small. Green onions cut into small pieces.
In a saucepan melt the butter and fry the flour until Golden brown.
Pour the cream, cook for a minute, stirring constantly and add to the pan to the stuffing with Gouda and green onions (leave a little for decoration).
Add the cooked pasta and mix again.
Put everything in a baking dish, sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in the oven for five to seven minutes.
Serve, garnish with green onions.
Bon appetit!
