Quinoa Flakes Porridge and Fruits Breakfast Bowl | A Celebration Recipe for today

How are you in this beautiful day? 

For me, today is a special day!!! And I want to tell you about it because it has to do with health, and for those who already follow me, you know that I'm trying to spread the word about well being, intelligent eating, health and healthy recipes.

So, why am I happy? 

Well, I'm happy because I'm the winner of two hundred Steem within this Challenge.  Read about it here.

But besides that, I'm really happy because I feel like my work has been appreciated! And this is definitely a wonderful feeling! 

Thank you guys for the opportunity and for your concern regarding steemians's health! I think our work it's not in vain. Everytime people get to read something about health, they're aware of the fact that health is not something that comes just like that. NO! You need to exercise, to eat real foods, to have your mind relaxed! and this is not hard People! In fact, its so easy! Make a change today! Do something for your health now! 


Moving on, here's this recipe I made today for breakfast, easy to make, healthy and so nutritious!! This recipe is gluten free, lactose free and vegan!  🥝🍌🍐🍊

Quinoa Flakes Porridge and Fruits Breakfast Bowl


INGREDIENTS:


You only need a few ingredients:

  • 1 cup of quinoua flakes 
  • 2 cups of plant based milk ( I had oats milk)
  • 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup (but you can replace it with agave, honey, stevie etc)
  • one cm of vanilla bean 
  • one pinch of cinnamon
  • Toppings: I used banana, kiwi, orange, raspberries, pear, coconut flakes . Here you can super creative! Just add whatever toppings you have! It doesn't have to be the ones I used.


INSTRUCTIONS


You'll need 15 minutes, maybe less! And you'll have 2 portions.

1. Combine the milk with the quinoua flakes in a saucepan.

2. Bring the mixture to a boil, add the vanilla bean (you can try to scoop out the seeds) and then reduce the heat to low. Cook everything for about 5 minutes, stirring continously. 

3. After 5 minutes, put the lid and let it cool down until you prepare your toppings.

4. Before you put the porridge into the bowls, add the maple syrup and mix until well combined. 

5. Put the porridge in 2 bowls and sprinke some cinnamon. And ofc, add your toppings!

It was such a delicious breakfast! Heart warming!
