As part of last month's Adelaide Monthly Meetup that @mattclarke has been hosting I made an appearance, surprising some of the other attendees.
Others have written various reports about the meetup, and meeting the little guy that's become my new travelling companion for the next month or so.
@rustle has been relaxing and taking it easy out in the southern suburbs watching some telly and avoiding the vicious dog.

So instead of the happenings at the meetup, I'm commenting on the food that was there. Outside the pub in the courtyard area is a small building that contains Phat Buddha Rolls and I couldn't go past the option of a Cambodian Cheeseburger.
I forgot to take a photo while they were actually open, but this is the building they operate out of
They were (or are?) a food truck that has expended to have at least a couple of other locations around the city, and from the food that I had, I can easily see why. The burger was different to anything else I've had, and very tasty. The spices in the mince patty had a wonderful South East Asian and really jumped out at me without being hot spicy. The gherkins were nice for a crunch and the combination of ketchup and mayo worked well and the cheese had melted into everything.

I didn't get a picture of them, but others had their Chicken Burger, and there was also a tray of what they called "Sweet Potato Fries". They were really nice, but they were closer to chips than what we'd expected when ordering a thing of fries for the table at a pub.
I was very happy with my choices and they went well with meeting new people and a few drinks.
