In 2016 Street Fighter V appeared. A game that can undoubtedly be seen as an excellent fighting game. The gameplay of Street Fighter V is fantastic. However, the game was unsuitable if you did not want to fight online and did not have any friends who came to play on the floor. The single player content was in fact very brief. Much has improved since that launch. And now you have Street Fighter V Arcade Edition, the version that actually had to appear in 2016.
If you already have Street Fighter V, do not worry, you do not have to purchase this new version. You just get an update that gives you all the content that is in the Street Fighter V Arcade Edition. But if you skipped the game at the time by the stories about the lack of modes, then this is the time to get the game. With a friendly price of less than forty euros you get one of the best fighting games of the moment in house. As you are used to, we give you five points to get the game.
Arc mode is nice to do
The most important addition of Street Fighter V Arcade Edition is undoubtedly the Arcade mode. It is the mode that was most missed during the original release. But now you can take on a series of battles against the computer again. This mode lets you choose from six different paths. Per path you get the choice of a number of characters that used to be in the same game, such as Street Fighter 2 or Street Fighter Alpha and you get a series of battles. At the end there are different cinematics and artwork rewards that you can unlock.
Many characters
Meanwhile there is a mountain of fighters with whom you can fight. If you buy the Street Fighter V Arcade Edition, you get all DLC characters from season 1 and 2 right away. If you only have Street Fighter V, you can unlock these characters via the in-game Street Fighter-currency. That means that you can get started with a fighters boss like Akuma. Through the same currency you can later unlock the characters of the third season, including Sakura and Sagat.
Fighting system is excellent
The fighting system of Street Fighter V has been good from the beginning and may have improved with the release of Street Fighter V Arcade Edition. For example, there is a new V-Trigger system that gives you more opportunities to counter during battles when your opponent drives you into a corner. And of course you still have the super attacks, which when they are properly timed the fight can decide in your favor.
There are enough opponents online
Despite the fact that you now have more possibilities to play against the computer, besides the Arcade Mode there are a number of other interesting modes, it is good to see that you can still find enough opponents online. However, I advise you to practice a lot first. The skills of the online players can deter you, because after two years the level is no less.
Visually a picture
A last strong point of Street Fighter V Arcade Edition and to a lesser extent Street Fighter V is that it looks great. It is a fighting game with so much character in it and characters are so cool that you immediately become happy. Fighting by that fine graphics and the flexibility are still great to do when you are completely rammed together.
