We are back with another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.

But first, let me tell you how we select the posts.

Selection criteria

All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -

a keenness to learn more about blockchain and crypto
life experiences
musings and memories of lives lived
planning for (and doing) life beyond formal work

Excluded

Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts are not considered.

If you missed some of those awesome posts, we encourage you to go back and read them. If you would still like to support the authors, even though some are past their payout dates: don't waste your vote, leave a tip, something Mother will be doing as a token of appreciation. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this facility.)

IT'S ABOUT TIME...THE COOKBOOK

Friends of mine wrote and illustrated a beautiful cookbook and I just had to have a copy, so I contacted them to see where I might get one. They told me it was a special gift they had created for family, they had published it themselves. They also said, I think this was the word, "spendy".
Another words, a little expensive. Now I must say I am a very conservative shopper. I look for bargains.

The Waiting is Exhausting...

Waiting is exhausting isn't it?
Waiting for news, waiting for mass adoption, waiting for regulation, waiting for the next bull run, waiting to get to that next milestone on Hive. It really wears you down.
I'm sure there is some kind of relation between something you are so emotionally invested in and how excruciating it is to receive news or updates on that something.

Hobby or not hobby that is my current dilemma

And then, well, I didn't feel like it anymore, this hobby had passed me by and then the whirlwind of my professional life caught up with me and I didn't take the time to indulge in creative or playful activities, I just kept the habit of collecting bird feathers or pebbles a little bit special. And now I am looking for my next passion.

We Have Orchid Blooms!!!!

These blooms should last a good while .. For a few months at least. Besides enjoying their visual beauty every day, several times a day, I also enjoy capturing the blooming moments in photo. Why not?! Their beauty beckons to be frozen in time, and it also gives me something to do. And the plus side is that I have something to blog about.. AND I know deep down inside, those reading this, enjoy them too.
