Mr. Mark is the oldest and wisest owl in the community, Jane the bat said to her friend Ann the pigeon, who was distressed and needed someone to talk to. Jane told Ann about all the amazing things Mr. Mark had done in the community—how he had healed broken homes and relationships and restored the love that was once lost between animal families.
Mr. Mark had lived a long time, seen a lot of things, and had so many experiences that, with his wealth of knowledge, nothing seemed to surprise him anymore. He was so wise and intelligent that his fame spread throughout the community. Animals from different communities sought his counsel.
Ann met with Mark and told him how her two sons were always fighting each other and that there was no peace in the home. From her conversation, Mr. Mark noticed that she favors one of her sons more than the other, which he diagnosed could be one of the major reasons behind their constant fight amongst the brothers. He advised her to love her sons equally and never show favoritism to either.
She went home and implemented what Mr. Mark had told her, just as he instructed. Initially, the children thought she was playacting, but as time progressed, both brothers found out that she had turned a new leaf and was now ready to unite the family.
