I had an amazing time on Sunday during the @hive.ghana meetup.
It comes up every Sunday night.
First, this meetup has been a blessing to my journey on the hive blockchain. From the first time I joined the meeting, I concluded that I would always make it a date every Sunday.
This community meetup has brought me out of my shell. The first time, I was nominated for the vlog, it came as a shock, I had never made a video of myself before because I'm the very shy type but I couldn't say NO and I decided to try it out @awuahbenjamin reached out and provided all I needed for it. I did it and everyone that saw it said I did great. I felt good within. I was proud of myself and since then, I've been trying out other script and I believe that something huge will come out from it soon.
The next shocker came when @adetemi nominated me to be the host of the next meeting. What! I don't know what to say or do but I still couldn't say No it's one of my weakness. So, I agreed to do it.
I asked a few questions from Mr Ben and he gave me the necessary information I needed as the host.
When it was time for the meetup, I almost ran offline 😁 but as my father's daughter that I am I shook off the fear and joined the meeting.
The nice song Playing in the background first made me forget my fears not until @mcsamm told me to start the meeting reality dawned on me.
I started a little shaky, I introduced myself and told other participants to introduce themselves. We were few when we started and they all did.
The next on the agenda was the weekly community update by @bengazi123 he gave us update about the community.
My beautiful @nhaji01 talked about the hive Ghana author of the week and encouraged us to vote for our favorite author. Mcsamm gave us update about the vlog and why it was a bit delayed.
The next on the agenda was community curation. Mcsamm talked about it and told us about setting up a fanbase on the hive.vote that helps you support your favorite author whenever they published a post both when you are offline or online it votes automatically.
I was excited to learn about that. It will save me the stress of voting manually and help get higher rewards. He exposed us to a lot about the block chain and curation rewards The information was priceless and I was glad.
There were a few questions and contributions from the members present in The Meetup.
We nominated for the next week vlog and I nominated @hivesam to host the next meeting.
We all had a swell time because everyone present learned something new.
