A streetart trip along Dordrecht, The Netherlands #7, Simian Switch: Dolhuisstraat

Simian Switch: Untitled

On the side of Dolhuisstraat 53, you can find this mural by the curator himself, Simian Switch. The Dolhuis was a lunatic asylum back in 1463, and is now a party centre.

Because Simian and the owner of the party centre have a pact, every once in a while you will find a new mural here.

(I am sorry for the car in the picture, but after getting here for 3 days in a row on different times, i always encountered the car. If you check google maps, you can check this part without the car.)

The artist

Sammie aka Simian Switch is a local from Dordrecht, and painting graffiti, murals and illustrations since the early 2000's in his own characteristic style.

He is influenced by Art Nouveau and stereometry techniques for composition which he uses in his murals and illustrations

Simian was also the curator for the Iconoclash murals.

You should really check out his website and instagram or on Wallin!
