Hiding the panels will cut the efficiency by a huge percenmtage. The panels are expensive enough that buying an extra $10,000.00 worth is not an option. Since I plan on running off grid, there is no place for them to send the power

I plan on building the LiIon 24 volt battery bank with about 400 parallel battery banks of 60 watts each. These will feed a bank of inverters to supply my air conditioners (1800 watts) and needed AC devices. The rest of the house will run on the 24 volt battery buss directly, including my refrigerator (65 watt) and freezer (70 Watt).

The wind is a backup to the solar, with a tertiary backup of a gasoline generator running on Browne Gas. All sources charging the batteries with any excess. My second wind generator will be of my own design, and will generate a lot more power at the same wind speed.

The solar panels will be on an articulating mounting that points them to the sun for max power generation. They will have an EMP shield, and the wiring will be inside metal conduit. The leads will be fused, and limited with an old style spark gap limiters. There will be separate solar chargers from each panel for best charge control. All wire will be inside a metal building, inside metal conduit.

I am far enough out in the country, that I will be way down the list to look for. Not a obvious enough system, close enough to the grid, to draw them in.
