4 Part A Cappella Harmony Women's Quartet Competition -- That's My Girl!!

For all those who love 4 part, a capella harmony, I share my daughter Quincie's barbershop quartet semi-final competition performance at the Sweet Adelines 72nd International Convention in St. Louis, Missouri this past weekend.

These are The Ladies:

Kim (baritone), Caroline (lead), Ashley (bass) and Quincie (tenor)

Quincie has been singing barbershop since she was 10
and has sung in 8-10 quartets over the past 17 years.
This is The Ladies first Women's International Quartet Competition,
though they won the Young Women in Harmony competition in 2016
(the division for women 25 and under) in New Zealand.
With the above performance, they won the Novice Division, and
placed in the top ten of 43 quartets to advance on to finals.

I've attempted to intrigue Quincie into bringing her barbershop world here to Steem
and get in on open mic with @luzcypher.   But alas,
she's just having too much fun traveling around and singing her heart out!

You can read in my yesterday's post about her journey,
how a singing community helped to develop her voice,
and how she is aligned with living her dream:
A Parent's Perspective - The Power of Following One's Dream - a Community Effort!

Thanks for stopping in!
