The photo was taken at Inle Lake in Myanmar. The small cabins belongs to my hotel, which is actually built on stilts on the lake. It is situated on the east side of the lake, which meant sitting outside watching gorgeous sunsets. This photo was taken late in the afternoon, as the sun was setting.
