I love finding new under-valued Steemians and this contest is a great excuse to find fabulous bloggers whose post aren't getting the attention they deserve. In case you aren't aware, the Pay It Forward Curation Contest is a weekly challenge from @pifc to find bloggers to promote.
If you want to know some of the things I look for when curating for Pay-it-Forward, please check out this article on How to Get Curated.
This week, we're celebrating our first anniversary. As such, we are doing a flash-back to people we've featured before who still need our support.
Selection #1 - From Week 12 @matthewtonyit (rep 60)
All You Need Is Love. | Greatest Reward In Life
I found Matthew from one of his rabbit posts. He loves his rabbits and it shows. He fooled me when I was looking to see if my older bloggers were still active... he ended up making a new account with a slightly different user name, but I've found him now! His lovely wife is also on Steem. Don't they look happy together?
At the time of writing, this post had only 0.13 STU to its credit. I think this happy couple deserve a lot more, don't you?
Selection #2 - From Week 14 @edouard (rep 58)
Wheels of Vibration
Edouard is one of the people I met through one of the Facebook groups for Steem bloggers. He is a really cool artist (and teacher) and recently has been sharing about his work as a nude model for artists. We had an interesting chat about his work. Like many of us, most of his posts aren't as well supported as they deserve, with a few good upvotes here and there to keep him steeming.
At the time of writing, this post only had 0.24 STU to its credit. Steem is such a great place for artists!
These are my selections for this week. Please visit them and give them some love - even if you don't have voting power to spare, a kind word can make all the difference!
Note: All images remain property of the original poster. I've only used their locations.
Previous weeks
(Please consider entering this contest! If you no longer want to be tagged, let me know and I'll take the @ sign off it. People in bold have been active within the past month.* Designates someone involved with PIFC within the past month. Italics means they've been featured as a flash-back.)
Running totals:
Week 45: 52 out of 102 featured bloggers are currently active = 56%
Week 51: 64 out of 114 featured bloggers are currently active = 56%
My personal observations - if you want to stay in the game...
- Don't restrict yourself to a particular niche - contrary to standard blog advice.
- Get involved in at least one community on Discord. Below are three of the communities I'm involved in right now.
- Support others, engage, meet people.
