Globalists, Deep State, Marxists, Democrats, Progressives - "Their heroes are murdering monsters"
![]() | Their plans would regress humanity to an earlier and utterly failed model that’s left a trail of blood across human history. So let’s call them what they are: “regressives,” not progressives. And let’s celebrate Independence Day, not Dependence Day. (Joy Overbeck) |
In "Stop Calling Them Progressives!", Overbeck offers a quick, brutal history lesson:
It’s an insult to all Americans when so-called progressives try to claim they are the new revolutionaries, freedom fighters like the original colonist tea-dumpers. They’re actually freedom-destroyers, bent on ripping apart the freedom of expression and the elective will of the voters, scorning the Constitution and torching the flag of liberty. Their goal is the death of liberty, not its advancement. Their heroes are murdering monsters Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, while they revile white-privileged Washington and Jefferson who pledged their lives for freedom.
Linda Goudsmith repeats Overbeck's theme, noting that "Globalism is the new word for the old lie about collectivism – that surrendering individual rights and national sovereignty will deliver social justice and income equality."
![]() | Will Alexander's "Teddy Roosevelt’s 100-year-old Message to Trump’s Enemies" provides a timely reminder. One which, I suspect, will be completely ignored by the brain-dead members of the "Resistance" - four points Teddy Roosevelt shared with his audience on the very day he was shot: |
- Inflamed political rhetoric can spark weak minds to inflamed acts of violence.
- People who engage in prolonged attacks of slander – even against political enemies – should be disowned and repudiated.
- Pitting the “haves” against the “have-nots” stirs up violence.
- Workers, leaders of aggrieved groups should denounce disorder and not incite riots.

Have you heard a single Democrat condemn this racist hatred?
Alas, experience teaches me that the purveyors of misinformation and outright lies, the hate-filled newspapers and television networks, will completely and deliberately ignore such common sense advice. As Ann Coulter writes:
Liberals know damn well that their audience includes a not-insignificant portion of foaming-at-the-mouth lunatics, prepared, at the slightest provocation, to smash windows, burn down neighborhoods, physically attack and even murder conservatives. But instead of toning down the rhetoric, the respectable left keeps throwing matches on the bone-dry tinder, and then indignantly asks, "Are you saying conservatives don't do it, too?"
No, actually. We don't.
I don't often fawn over Ms. Coulter - she was a great disappointment to me with her early support for Donald Trump - but lately she seems to be waking up from her naive belief in the man. In this, however, she is spot on: The leftists are constantly inciting violence, and it needs to stop.

Before reading the speech, Roosevelt spoke off the cuff for a few minutes. Uncertain whether this would be his “last talk,” he made four major points worth passing on to Trump’s enemies; people who, today, seem committed to nurturing a most lethal strain of toxic hyperbole.

Or this?
What we're seeing is the following: Prominent liberals repeatedly tell us, with deadly seriousness, that Trump and his supporters are: "Hitler," "fascists," "bigots," "haters," "racists," "terrorists," "criminals" and "white supremacists," which is then followed by liberals physically attacking conservatives.
To talk about "both sides" being guilty of provocative rhetoric is like talking about "both genders" being guilty of rape.
Songs are written about globalism – John Lennon’s classic song “Imagine” is the globalist anthem. The successful marketing of collectivism requires the names to change from already rejected Communism and faltering Socialism (think Venezuela) to the promise of a New World Order renamed GLOBALISM that disingenuously pledges social justice and income equality.
Globalism is the new word for the old lie about collectivism – that surrendering individual rights and national sovereignty will deliver social justice and income equality.

Years ago Marxist-socialist leftists, embarrassed at being Marxist-socialist leftists, made up a shiny new name for themselves, “progressives.” It’s a word that sounds like a garden of forward-thinking delights, but is simply code for the failed, human-spirit-destroying government-command-and control that birthed all the evil “isms” of the past.
“They use their media to assassinate real news. They use their schools to teach children that their president is another Hitler. And then they use their ex-president to endorse the resistance. All to make them march, make them protest, make them scream racism and sexism and xenophobia, to smash windows, burn cars, shut down interstates and airports, bully and terrorize the law abiding until the only option left is for the police to do their jobs and stop the madness. And when that happens, they’ll use it as an excuse for the outrage."
