A Beer Saturday Competition Entry Post
Ransack the Universe is an IPA made in Hamilton, Ontario at the Collective Arts Brewing Co. I've had it on draft a few times but upon noticing the can I thought it was too enticing to pass up on. You can't always drink generic junk but if you're only going to have one or two, you may as well enjoy it. This is the perfect sipping beer for that.

The art on the can certainly does Ransack the Universe justice-it's a hoppy, unfiltered and strong IPA coming in at 6.8%. It's very tasty and quite powerful although not as strong as Sparklepuff which I reviewed in a previous #BeerSaturday post. This is another beer that is best enjoyed with a hearty meal or snack food.

There's something I love about a flavourful and filling beer, this one sure does hit the spot. I wouldn't want to drink one out in the sun on an empty stomach or during a lunch meeting. This beer is best drank almost like a glass of heavy red wine. It has that perfect beer colour and just by looking at it you can tell how rich it is.

If you are ever in the Toronto or Hamilton, Canada area, try a Collective Arts Beer. They have other options that aren't as powerful and they support the arts with their creative labels. You may think I'm a hipster, but I just like good beer. If you are a beer drinker you should check out @detlev's regular Beer Saturday contests.
