So it's already Friday, huh?
It feels like I have just been drifting by since last weekend. I'm just glad to have good company in Anyeong who tends to make the day a mix of everything - utter peacefulness when he is curled up and sleeping, lots of fun and laughter when he starts playing, joyful bliss when he gives his sweet kisses, crazy messy when he is in a super hyper mood and what else. I honestly couldn't keep up with his energy at times, haha!
But yeah, life got even better with him around.

"We should have adopted sooner," I was sharing my thoughts with the husband some days ago. "Well, everything has its own time," he said. And perhaps he is right because he had actually been in search for quite a long while but for most, he had some reasons. I even thought he didn't really like to have one in the house.😅
"Did you realize we got him from the same place where we bought the cow?" he continued (he meant the car, lol).
He was trying to connect events.
The thing was that we were to adopt another pup but the person whom the Farmboy initially contacted and agreed to meet up with was suddenly unreachable the day we were to pick up the puppy. We waited for a few more hours and she was not responding so the husband decided to find another one. Anyeong came through.
He's one little perfect gift.
We are just starting to create memories with him, and we will take it one day at a time. He sure makes me dream yet again of the days, weeks, months, and years ahead.
Anyeong during our walk. He doesn't like being photographed.
We had our very first short walk in the neighborhood on Saturday. The kids down the property got excited about seeing him. He wasn't though, and gave them the first taste of his mean side, lol! But nah, he's just a sweet kid who was brought into an unfamiliar space and he didn't like it.
Again, we will take it one moment at a time. He will adapt for sure!
Meanwhile, we had a wee fun time watching the caterpillar in one of the blooming roses in the yard. He whimpered and quickly tried burying his head in my chest when he noticed it moving, lol! He's easily scared and it is very understandable.

The truth is, he often puts me into a reflective mode each and every day. And I love it. I have more yet to learn about life and stuff, and this little guy is teaching me a lot already.
There had been some adjustments made in the house (like turning some of the rags upside down and repositioning some things), and more yet to come as he grows. But I do imagine wonderful, messy, wild, and fun adventures ahead of us!
Happy Friday, everyone! Hope things are going well for you as we welcome another weekend. Have a glorious one!
