These are some sketches I did some time ago when I still was living in Barranquilla, similar to Urban Sketchers Medellín there is also a Drawing Group in Barranquilla called "El Dibujo de los Sabados" and as the name implies it's for gathering weekly every Saturday somewhere in the city to draw. Now there were some special sessions for drawing nudes, these were paid although not very costly and the money was for hiring the nude model...but that's beside the point, the main thing here is that it was quite cool to participate in those as for me I had never drawn a live nude model before...the closest thing I had chance to, were "classical statues" lol, they're good anatomical references but vastly different that drawing real people.
So well these two sketches are the result of that "Nudes Drawing Session".
