It has been an interesting few days since the new bird feeders where put up and we are getting quite a few different types of birds dropping in for #featheredfriday hosted by @melinda010100.
I am relatively new to this whole bird watching thing but it is a lot easier when the birds come to you.
While I can see the attraction of twitching. The idea of schlepping around looking for birds is pretty unattractive and inefficient? imo.
These Common Wood Pigeon (Columba palumbus) are pretty plump and are members of the Dove family. I not certain but I think these are the pigeons that are used in cooking? Pigeon pie etc.
Common Wood Pigeon
What's better than one Wood Pigeon? Two Wood Pigeons! - Especially if you are thinking of making a pie?
This one is looking one way and the other ones looking the other way and asking.

Two Common Wood Pigeons
The common wood pigeon is a large species in the dove and pigeon family. It belongs to the genus Columba and, like all pigeons and doves, belongs to the family Columbidae
Just to reassure you. I didn't eat the Pigeons but I now know where to get some if things get tight. :-)
Thanks for reading. That's all folks!
