ULOG 99 - Kid at work

One of the advantages of working for a company like SBS is that you get to bring your kids to the office during school holidays. The kids get to discover a working environment and the other parent can take a break.

So this morning, I drove my boy and went pick up my friend from his house and the three of us jumped on the train. Due to the creation of a new line near our office, there had been some disruptions with timetables and it also affected our line. We used to have a 7:19 am and 7:26 am in the morning, if we missed the first, we can just wait few minutes for the next one. Now the 7:19 is a 7:17 and the 7:26 is no more... Next one would be after 8. Same for the way back in the afternoon 😨

After our daily stand up, direction the cafe for some breakie. San had a mud cake and a hot chocolate.

Today is a special day, the department has organised a team lunch and afternoon out in a club in North Sydney which is why I chose to take San to the office today as he would only spend half the day in the office and the other half would be more fun.

The initial plan was to play lawn bowls at the club, but due to a rainy weather, we were instructed to bring some board games for the arvo. I brought a board of Checkers and Othello as San knows how to play them. After a round of each, I then played Janga with him and it was very fun. We ended up with a very difficult end as you can see on San's face but he didn't give up.

San also had a round of Othello with Abi.

While others were playing Monopoly Deal and Unstable Unicorn.

The afternoon went by very fast and soon we had to go to the station to catch our train. We really wanted to catch the next train so we had to run a little bit despite the rain. My mate helped us by carrying San half the way and we managed to jump on the train right as the doors were closing.

Password and Private Keys security

You all know that your Steem password is the access to all your STEEM, SBD, posting, transferring, everything... right?
So, please, follow these simple steps and keep yourself safe:

  1. Apart from the initial setup of your account, NEVER use your password ANYWHERE, if stolen, it will give full control to your Steem account.
  2. Backup your password and keep it somewhere safe. Use a password manager like Lastpass, print it on paper and put it in a safe (no kidding). If you forget your password, no one can help you out.
  3. To login for creating content and curating, use your Private Posting Key
  4. To make transfers and account operations, use your Private Active Key
  5. To encrypt and decrypt memos, use your Private Memo Key
