Steemfriends is a platform that comprises tools that can be used to check your relationship with others on the steemit platform. I started this series in my previous post [here]. In the previous post, I explained some of the tools that can be used to determine your friends on steemit. You can check who your top upvoters, contributors are in a minute without much hassle.

In this article, I will be talking about the fourth feature titled rankings.

The ranking tool on Steemfriends displays your account in relation to other users on steemit. This is an important tool that enables users to monitor their progress on steemit.
It is impossible to rank all steemit accounts based on criteria. It doesn’t give a fair reflection of those accounts worth.

Steemfriends rank account based on different criteria namely

  • Followers
  • Reputation
  • Effective SP
  • Own SP
  • SBD
  • Estimated Account Value
  • Pending Payout
  • Past Payout
  • Powerdown
  • Witness Voting Power: All users
  • Witness Voting Power: Proxies

You can access this rankings tool by clicking on it, then select any sub-tool you want. This will display a list of accounts ranked in descending order according to the sub-tool selected. You can also search a username to know the position thereby saving users the stress of navigating page by page just to find a particular account.

Followers

These feature ranks account based on their number of followers. You can see that Cryptoriddler is ranked first with 102,018 followers, followed by dtube with 82,459 followers. Searching for my username shows that I am ranked 9164 with 1218 followers and can be found on page 184.
The rank can also provide some information on how to get more followers on steemit. A look at some of the accounts in the top 50 shows that they have succeeded in adding value and carving out a niche for themselves on steemit. Dtube is a top Dapp on steemit and that is enough reason to be in the second position.

Reputation

The feature ranks accounts according to their steemit reputation. It is one interesting feature that can be used to know where you rank based on reputation. It is impossible to do this manually with steemit users well over a million users. Haejin is the top-ranked user here with 83.55 reputation closely followed by chbartist with 80.59 reputation and my account is ranked at number 1714 with 65.84 reputation.

Effective SP and Own SP

I call this the rich list because huge SP means a bigger stake and more influence over author and curation rewards. Effective SP is ranking accounts by their steempower including incoming delegations and excluding outgoing delegations. This means accounts are ranked by their current SP irrespective of either they own it or got it from delegation. The steemit and steem account currently top this list.

However, the Own SP ranks account by the SP they own and can power-down. The own SP do not consider delegations. It ranks by SP owned from either author, curation rewards, powered up steem etc. The Own SP is led by the steemit account followed by misterdelegation account.

SBD

Steemfriends also rank accounts based on the number of SBD present in their steemit wallet. Top of the list is bittrex. Bittrex is one of the most popular exchanges that list SBD.

Therefore, they have an account on steemit where users can send their SBD to with designated memo and it’s processed before reflecting in their exchange account. Mika is a distant second with 500,000 SBD.

Estimated Account Value

The estimated account value feature takes 3 things into account.

  • The account total SBD
  • The account total STEEM
  • The account steempower

These three things are considered in order to generate the estimated account value. There are also columns for the criteria used. Bittrex is the top-ranked account presently.

Pending Payout

The pending payout feature rank users according to their total pending payout value within the 7 days voting period. Chbartist is currently top with 1,942 total pending payout and closely followed by haejin with 1,398 total pending payout.

Past Payout

This feature is currently inactive

Powerdown

This feature ranks users based on their power-down. It displays the list in a table format with 7 columns namely
1.PNG

  • Username – The steemit account powering down.
  • Withdrawal Amount (SP) – The SP to be withdrawn in the next power down. That is the SP to be converted to STEEM.
  • Withdrawal Amount (USD) – The withdrawn SP equivalent value in USD according to the current steem price on coinmarketcap.
  • Next withdrawal date – The date of the next SP power-down.
  • Current SP – The amount of steempower the user currently possess.
  • Power Down Start Date – The date power down was initiated.
  • Power Down duration – The time elapsed over the course of powering down.

You can search for a specific user and modify your search queries.

Witness Voting Power: All users and Witness Voting Power: Proxies

All steemit accounts are eligible to vote for witnesses. They can also decide to set a proxy. Any witness voted by this proxy will become the account default selection. Accounts witness vote value depends on the accounts vest.

These 2 features let users know the accounts that can influence witness ranking and to what extent.

Conclusion

The ranking feature on Steemfriends is a comprehensive one as it includes all possible ways to rank a steemit account. It provides more ranking criteria than similar platform steemitboard. With the absence of features like effective sp, estimated account value, pending payout, witness voting power: all users/proxies, power-down, and sbd not present on steemitboard. Steemfriends is the go-to website for comprehensive statistics on steemit.
