I had been meaning to power up for some time now and rather than wait any longer i decided to buy a little bit now whilst the trading price is $0.866235 (according to CoinMarketCap), though the trading price on Bittrex; which is were i purchased the Steem was trading at 0.82, perhaps there is a good arbitraging opportunity somewhere though i won't be bothering with all that.
In total i purchased 309.828 Steem from Bittrex taking my SP from 695.381 to 1000.224, i had a loose target of powering up 1000 Steem and have now achieved that target, though i am more focused on just being active on the blockchain and letting the rewards take care of themselves.

For now i will give myself the target of powering up 5000 Steem but i won't be giving myself a timeframe to do so but hopefully i get there before the years out.
