I set the goal of obtaining 60 rep on Steem quite some time ago and a few days ago i finally achieved that target, it took a lot longer than i thought it would as reputation is somewhat of a logarithmic algorithm so the higher the rep the longer it takes to increase.
Reputation is an interesting metric though many are of the opinion that it is open to abuse, another metric that intends to address this abuse is SteemUA which takes different things in to account when averaging out a score such as the amount of interaction with other accounts.
My SteemUA score is currently 2.901 which ranks me at 10894 which is steadily increasing and will be a metric i monitor going forward hopefully i can reach 3.0 soon and see where that ranks me.
