Hello there friends!!! 😁
This is my thirty-first post about the Urban Sketchers of Medellín, this session was at Victoria Regia Bar where TOMODACHI, Japanese culture festival was hosted.

As a group we decided to assist to this event on Wednesday, via voting on a poll with the USKM Instagram account, the other option was going to a park in the southern limit of Medellin, however it was quickly clear that most of us preferred the Japanese culture festival hehe.

Arriving to Victoria Regia was quite easy as it's just in front of Poblado's main park and in a straight line from the metro station of Poblado, there was a small queue line to enter the place, it was expected since it was free entry, but once inside the fun started haha, quickly saw many of my friends and fellow Urban Sketchers having a drink or sitting somewhere figuring what to draw, hehe.

Of course I had to check the entire place and see what was going on in every corner before picking what to draw, well the place too crowded but found this really nice view from the stairs leading to the top floor, got captured by the beauty of colours green and the asian red beams portal, however at 16:30 the sun was still too hot so I took a photo and went to seek some shade and a comfty place to draw.

That's when I found this spot where my new friend Milla was drinking Sake with her friends, thanks to her I got to sip a bit of that sake and shared a lot of laughs and nice convo about everything and nothing while doing my urban sketchers drawing, and apparently what I was drawing called the attention of many attendees, cause 2 people approached me to ask me if I could draw something on their Japanese Paper Fans offering me payment, which I gladly did haha, later after gathering with the rest of urban sketchers and sharing our experiences we played a couple of matches of UNO and later went to eat ice creams at Amor-Acuyá.
