Chiang Mai, that means "New City" its a city of a great cultural religious heritage, the city has over 300 temples some splendid and others abandoned. Nonetheless it's a very busy city, the largest of northern Thailand dos not stay behind the paradisiacal competition from the south.
The entire ancient city its surrounded by a square wall and water channels and there is four big doors to enter the ancient city in each side of the square wall. When me and my father enter the ancient city we where in adventure mode.

After we entered the city we found a hidden garden, I was so surprised that just a few meters from all the noise and the pollution where this little place of silence.
Inside the garden they had place to chill and chat with a restaurant that you could buy some food, the garden had many statues, I had a great time appreciating and taking photos of them.
After staying some time in the garden we continue our discovery of the city and we enter in our first temple Wat Jedlin:
It was a little bit abandoned, but nice first temple
Next temple we went was the Wat Chang Taem, he was more beautiful than the firs one.
Our Last temple of the day was the famous Wat Chedi Luang. This was the temple where there was the most tourist, but not only. There was a ceremony preparation going one in the temple, a lot of workers and monks coming and going, me and my father were asking ourself what was happening.

This is the main temple:
And inside:

This was all in one day and I already was impressed and indescribably in love with temples. 😂
Anyway I hope you liked this post as much as I liked this day
Peace out
