Waaaaa what a day. The shift ended at 3 am but I could get to sleep until something like 5 am. In the end, I played Mortal Kombat X lol. I know, it's not going to help with the sleep but anyway... I woke up at 12 noon, had a simple lunch, had a shower and a coffee and went back to bed at 2 pm and watch some fishing videos.
Vive la France 🤣
That was probably the only match I watched a little bit of, like a total of 2 minutes maybe and just for the replay of the goals lol. That reminded me of 1998 which is probably the only time I watched a football match entirely. At the time, I was in Montpellier and it was the first year Vietnam started to send groups of Vietnamese students to France to study French. I happen to have met them when I was at the local laundry shop waiting for my cloth. I introduced the Vietnamese students to the Vietnamese-French ones and we started becoming friends and watched the matches together. It was an epic game that year.
Back to the question in the title, what day are we today? I had to look at the laptop's clock because these night shifts are messing up with my body clock. I can not tell what day of the week or what time of the day it is. Three more nights and I will be back to a normal life but that also means it will take me few days to readjust to a regular sleep cycle. It feels like jetlag.
Today I sent my 7 weekly SBD to @adollaraday, a charity I'm supporting. With the low price of Steem, it's becoming harder to keep up with the donation, but I'm trying not to give up. Currently, my daily #ulog are generating organically about only $2.50 STU so the author reward is less than 1 SBD. So to get those 7 SBD a week, I'm actually adding a little bit of my own savings. Luckily, I got paid recently for my work on the @photochainreward bot so I took a bit of that for the donation.
I discovered a former kayak fishing buddy from the time when I used to live in Artarmon has moved to my town and he happens to live just 3 minutes away from our place. How funny is that? Well, I've got a new Central Coast fishing mate now.
It's 9.28 pm now, I woke up about less than an hour ago, I heard that my son was still awake so went lay down with him a little bit before heading out for dinner. I had a chicken curry with some rice. A family friend came around to stay with us over the weekend but due to my work schedule, I didn't get to see them her that much. During the day, while I was sleeping, she went with my family to the beach.
One more hour before the next shift. I'm going to make myself a nice cup of coffee because that dinner was actually my breakfast hahaha. I will probably watch something on the Apple TV before jumping on the office Slack channel.
I hope all if you have had an enjoyable weekend, see you tomorrow.

Password and Private Keys security
You all know that your Steem password is the access to all your STEEM, SBD, posting, transferring, everything... right?
So, please, follow these simple steps and keep yourself safe:
- Apart from the initial setup of your account, NEVER use your password ANYWHERE, if stolen, it will give full control to your Steem account.
- Backup your password and keep it somewhere safe. Use a password manager like Lastpass, print it on paper and put it in a safe (no kidding). If you forget your password, no one can help you out.
- To login for creating content and curating, use your Private Posting Key
- To make transfers and account operations, use your Private Active Key
- To encrypt and decrypt memos, use your Private Memo Key
