Welcome back. Now, let me introduce you to the other residents of Parque de la Paloma.
One lone swan.
A duck
More ducks in the pond. I didn't see as many ducks this time. Once there were many beautiful coloured ducks which could well be Peking Ducks.
Chickens make the biggest percentage of the residents of Parque de la Paloma. I guess the pigeons and doves are more free to come and go.
A hen, a chick, ring-neck doves and pigeons. All living in harmony in the park.
A hen with her chicks.
There are many roosters. They make quite a racket crowing non-stop.
And then there are two donkeys, looking rather old and tired.
And some goats in the pen.
Two rabbits. I only saw two this time. One resting in the shade, one actively hopping about in the sun.
I almost missed out this pair of beautiful green parrots in the shade.
A treasured find. Spotted this peacock, shying away. Managed to capture a pic before it got away.
Missing from the post are pictures of fitness corners, and children’s playgrounds. There are nothing exceptional about them, which is why I didn’t think to take pictures of them. There is also a bar, (quite new), and a couple of small cafeteria selling snacks and refreshments. There is also a center or a museum of sorts in the park, or it could just be their admin office. There is a small open space for events and performances.
Now, isn't this a park with a difference? When have you seen so many animals in a park? If you wish to know more about this Park, here’s the link.
