This I think is the first of (hopefully) many Monty-Python-And-The-Holy-Grail references in these webcomics 😁
Long ago I originally planned to have Sir Marko's manservant Bort feature a role in the D&D-themed comics, but that was before I created Brent the Rookie in the XCOM-ic webcomics. So instead I created the grape-jelly/owlbear incident to pave the way for Brent to become Brentwick De La Redshirte and Sir Marko's squire. Not the first time I changed direction in my webcomics, and certainly not going to be the last!
