With about 36 hours or so left for contest entries, we have a total of 13 contestants, and a few of them made several entries. We have had many quality designs entered, and even though we now have what we need to create a top five, I still hope to see a few more entries before the contest extension article pays out, which will bring the entry deadline with it.
I will keep today's update brief (opposite my other lengthy updates), as @hempress and I are busy starting the first stages of creating the test batch of what the winning designs from these contests will eventually turn into. The slow and steady revelation process of what exactly this is, will also begin soon.
After the contest extension article pays out, I will then create a post for the top five entries we have selected to advance. During that time, the community will have an opportunity to express their opinions about each remaining design, to give us a clearer picture of what people like about different aspects of each design, and we will also take a bit of a poll based on the comments. Any Steemit artist in the top five may alter their design(s) to any degree they wish during this time as well, and we will update as necessary.
