Another great day at the beach. Today we went chilling out at Putty Beach in Killcare Heights. If you ever come around, enjoy some nice food and walk at Hardys Bay on the opposite side.

Today the swell was big, this has created a nice photographic opportunity as large waves came crushing against the shore.

I sometimes come here to do some beach fishing but today, it’s about chilling out and taking some photo shoot with the iPhone. It was tricky to get a shot that combines good shore brakes and a large wave forming at the back. Here is my best shot of the day:

I didn’t bring my earphones to use as a remote controller for the iPhone so I had to use a 1 second timer to prevent camera shake. But this made it difficult to time it right to take a shot of the waves. I wanted a gap between the white wash to reveal the green color of the water. In the end I still managed to get something decent:
