The process is simple:
With 20 english curators, it is easy for us to browse almost every tag and find hidden gems. If the post we found is written by an author preferably with no more than 6 months on Steemit and his/her average rewards are below double digits, then said post is eligible to be nominated.
At the end of the day, we´ll have between 15-20 posts nominated for curation on our discord chat, then each curator reads all of the posts nominated and chooses two of them. The 10 posts with more internal votes are featured on our Daily Issue, giving the author and the post more visibility, rewards, and a vote from some members of the team, from the account @ocd and from our leader @acidyo.
This translates in total post rewards oscilating $15-$20 without counting the votes the posts may get from our +6,500 followers.
OCD Daily: English Posts
In the last 10 months our curators have nominated for curation more than 3,000 posts and out of those, through the internal voting process we have selected almost 2,000 posts!
We know that all of these rewards are not directly from us, but given that our curators nominate posts that are usually below the $5 dollar mark and the post ends up between $18-$25 in total rewards, the 18k statement is conservative.

OCD International Daily: Different Languages
Even though English is the main language - by far - used on Steemit, it is clear that more and more languages are being used to write posts on a daily basis. In OCD we noticed that and, with the only intention of encouraging these new communities to keep posting, we decided to add to the team an international group of curators to select and reward posts from 10 different languages - so far:
Spanish, German, French, Italian, Polish, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Dutch.
It´s been more than 150 issues since we started curating posts from these languages and so far we´ve curated more than 1,000 posts.
The list for the international posts curated by @ocd can be found in the comment section - the posts was too long, that´s how many people we´ve curated! They don´t fit in one post!
OCD Resteem
Every @ocd compilation post - the English and the international one - uses the tag #ocd, in there you can find every comp we´ve made for the past seven days. But there is also another tag in the @ocd universe…
#ocd-resteem
This tag is used by authors who want to be resteemed by the @ocd account – and sometimes from some of our members – and to also get some votes from our curators. Each day, from the tens of posts using the tag, we choose 3 posts using the #ocd-resteem tag and, obviously we resteem it. After that, we vote on it with the @ocd account and then @acidyo votes on the post.
This initiative started 170 days ago and so far we´ve resteemed almost 600 posts.
Same with international posts, The list for the resteem posts curated by @ocd can be found in the comment section - the posts was too long, that´s how many people we´ve curated! They don´t fit in one post!
But there is more, one last initiative which will use this very same list for it, be on the lookoout for it, in a few days our leader @acidyo will announce it, for now, keep making awesome content, you never know when @ocd might be curating your tags.
