My 17 weeks of Steemit-Ironchef

What an awesome ride Steemit-Ironchef has been so far ! Absolutely loved every weeks challenge and am so looking forward to the coming season ! Lets get into seeing my entries ... I amazed myself and I entered every week ... didn't miss one !

Week 1
The first theme was tomatoes, I made Caramelized Tomato sauce with Mascarpone Mousse

Week 2
The second theme was carrots, I made CarrotMousse with Honeyglaze sauce

Week 3
The third theme was BeetRoots, I made **Beetroot Dream dessert **

Week 4
The fourth theme was Courgettes, I made Courgette Tower

the dish was build on 4 elements... in all 4 courgette is the main ingredient, Courgette steaks, baked courgette cheese filling, freshly pickled courgette salad and topped off with grilled courgette...

Week 5
The fifth theme was Pears, I made Pears Nest with pear Gel and Pear salad

Week 6
The sixth theme was EggPlant, I made Eggplant 4 ways...

The Elements were

  1. Parmasan crusted EggPlant
  2. EggPlant grilled in Walnut oil
  3. Fresh EggPlant marinated in walnut oil, lemon, chilli, chives and red onions
  4. Baked EggPlant and garlic Mascarpone sauce

Week 7
The seventh theme was apples, I made AppleBrieDreams

Week 12
The twelfth theme was CauliFlower, I made Abstract CauliFlower 5 ways from Sunday

My 5 ways of CauliFlower were

  1. CauliFlower slow cooked in milk with Garlic
  2. Creamy sauce of CauliFlower, garlic with a twist of homemade mayo...
  3. Teriyaki Marinated CauliFlower Stalks wrapped in bacon
  4. CauliFlower Carpaccio marinated in walnut oil
  5. Raw lemony CauliFlower Salad

Week 13
The thirteenth theme was Oranges, I made Raw Tuna, Scallops and Oranges with a twist

Week 14
The fourteenth theme was mushrooms, I made MushyPoshy Soup with crispbread

  1. Creamy mixed Mushroom soup with Jerusalem Artichokes
  2. Mushroom fry up
  3. Crisp bread
