The new year has started, that means new Playstation Plus games to download in January! Deus Ex Mankind Divided is undoubtedly the biggest. If you are a newcomer in the franchise or want to sharpen your knowledge, here are five Deus Ex Mankind Divided tips to transform you into a bath ass Adam Jensen!
Deus Ex Mankind Divided is the sequel to the acclaimed Human Revolution . Although the second part sold considerably less well, it is still one of the better RPGs on the current generation of consoles and PC. This month it can be downloaded as a PlayStation Plus game, so this is your chance if you have not played it yet! Square Enix has a pause for the series, so get everything out of your (for now) last hours with Adam Jensen with these tips.
Choose your augmentations wisely
The great thing about Deus Ex Mankind Divided is that you can use your own playing style, so it is useful to take this into account. If you like guns blazing everywhere through marching, then you do well to upgrade hit points and health regeneration.
Nevertheless, Deus Ex games remain a strong focus on stealth and it pays the most to invest in upgrades that support this style of play. Augmentations such as Smart Vision, Hacking Capture and Glass-Shield Cloaking are particularly useful when you sneak past the terrorists.
Explore the area
The world in Mankind Divided is full of shocking secrets such as a little ammunition for your weapon or a Praxis Kit under a floor slab. Not only does the exploring of the many environments you come to make the game more fun, you also learn a lot about it through notes, magazines or emails and also collect valuable loot.
Jensen is not a rich playboy like Bruce Wayne and has to make choices in what he wants to buy for gadgets. With a little patience and combining the areas where you come, you can save a lot of expenses. You can even sell your honestly found belongings to a dealer and perhaps buy a nice weapon for it.
Complete as many sidequests as possible
Unlike some other games where side quests are an infinite source of repetition and misery, in Mankind Divided they are really fun to do and they give the world meaningful content. The small stories are often interwoven with the main story, offer a fair amount of challenge and you always get something nice in return. Especially the experience points you gain and extra 'monnies' are essential for going through the main story at more difficult levels.
More augmentations and items give you more options to tackle a situation. So Jensen soon finds out that he has more special adjustments in his body than he initially thought. Via David Sarif he comes in a sidequest on the path of a doctor who knows more about it. His apartment is include a keycard of the Tai Yong Medical group, which you later in the game safe with a big loot can open and nice about Adam Jensen and backstory.
Have EMP grenades or a Stun Gun at hand
Adam Jensen can be called a cyborg with all his tough physical adjustments and can therefore do things that you only dare to dream of. Yet he is not the only one, because Mankind Divided takes place in a dark future in which humanity is divided into two camps: pro-augmentation and anti-augmentation.
You will also encounter a lot of robots and enemies with their own augmentations. With a few EMP grenades and a Stun Gun you are at least well prepared when confronting the mechanical part of society. Especially the large Exosuits are spicy, but with a few surges through their bodies you can switch them off a lot easier.
Hack everything you can hack
Behind every password or code can be valuable lottery or information. Earlier we mentioned a number of useful augmentations to choose, including Hacking Capture. Do not forget to invest in this, because hacking makes your life as a special agent a lot easier.
Computers, doors, turrets and all kinds of other things can be hacked if you decide to spend points on this skill. In this way you sometimes escape through otherwise impossible routes when it gets too hot under your feet, or can you simply go more easily towards your goal.
Review of PlayStation Plus game Deus Ex Mankind Divided
Mankind Divided came out in August last year. We were very pleased with Adam Jensen's latest adventure. Despite a somewhat unstable frame rate and the sometimes wooden animations, it is an RPG that you should have played, especially now that it is free as a PlayStation Plus game. After the release some DLC packages have been released, of which A Criminal Past is the last.
